Harmonic Attunement
A guided Attunement with Ann Marie Work
music by Jo Anna Burns-Miller

Disabled with MS, sometimes bedridden for days, I
spent long periods of time in deep places of peace, always asking to be
shown the way to heal myself. I have always seen energy and as I was
guided to breathe with different parts of my body, I observed how
breathing one part of my body affected another and breathing with many
parts affected the whole. As I watched the healing of my being, I soon
realized I could breathe myself free of almost any condition. Now, in
vital health, symptom-free of MS over 11 years, I share the Breath of
Life techniques on tape and CD.
A Harmonic Synchronistic Attunement is a
guided attunement, allowing you to reconnect every one of your hundred
trillion cells to the Breath of Life. You were born connected to
the natural rhythms of the Earth and the Universe. These rhythms have been
referred to by almost every religion as the Breath of Life. It is
the synchronistic movement of divine love within your being manifested as
the harmonic energies of vitality and rejuvenation. The simplicity of
healing lies in the fact that as you reawaken the Breath of Life,
you reawaken the body's natural intelligence and ability to heal itself.
As you move out of suppression and distress into health and harmony, you
experience physical regeneration and rejuvenation, emotional stability and
empowerment, mental clarity and conscious expansion, an awakening of
understanding and wisdom and a new sense of balance, harmony and joy.
Why an Attunement?
An attunement assists in restoring the body's natural
intelligence to awaken the body's natural ability to balance and heal
itself. Every time you experience a physical, emotional, or mental stress
you hold your breath. Under stress your shoulders lower, your collar bones
clamp down and your breast bone caves in, which places a torque on the
spine, locks up the hips and pelvic cradle and shuts down or locks up your
solar plexus inhibiting the movement of the energy within your body.
When your solar plexus is locked your lungs expand
and contract with each breath but your ribs stand still. The act of
breathing was meant to exercise your entire body. Each time you would
inhale and exhale a wave of movement would be created to move the lymph or
extra cellular fluid in such a way that each one of your one hundred
trillion cells would get a full body massage. This would allow for a free
flow of nutrients and oxygen to each cell and the removal of toxins and
debris such as viruses and parasites. But when your solar plexus and rib
cage are locked tight, only the lungs move when you breathe and the rest
of the body is allowed to go into a state of stagnation which leads to
disease and degeneration.
So the doctor was absolutely right when he declared
stress creates disease. But it is not only the removal of stress but
rather the reawakening of the Breath of Life that will give you the
results you are looking for.
You were created in such a magnificent way, that when
you restore the Breath of Life, you awaken the body's innate
ability to heal itself.

To release stress from the neck,
shoulders and back by opening up the ribs and restoring the Breath of
Life within specific parts of your body.
To begin, stand with your feet flat on the floor. Relax your back and lift
your breast bone slightly, as though you are tilting your chest upward
about a half an inch or so, to open and relax your solar plexus, that soft
tummy area just below the breasts. You can feel the expansion and
contraction of your lungs with each breath, but now imagine your whole
body breathing with you from head to toe. Become aware as your ribs begin
to open, your shoulders soften, your breast bone and collar bones begin to
rise and fall with each breath and your spine, back, hips and pelvic
cradle relax as your whole body just lets go into the waves of the breath
and into the peace. Gently bend your head forward slightly to put a slight
stretch on your spine, but stay in a comfortable position without pain.
-
Imagine your lungs reaching out to embrace your
spine.
-
Imagine your lungs reaching out as though to
touch your brainstem
(at base of the skull.)
-
Imagine your lungs reaching out as though to
touch your tailbone
Stand up straight. You will notice that the thumbs of your hands are
pointing inward. As you inhale stretch your arms and rotate your thumbs
outward. As you exhale, relax your arms and point your thumbs back in.
Imagine your lungs reaching out as though to touch the following parts of
your body as you inhale, relaxing as you exhale, for 3- 4 breaths.
Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth or
you may hum through the part of the body you are focusing on as you
exhale.
-
Imagine your lungs reaching up as though to touch
the top of your shoulders. Rotate your hands out about 4 inches from
the body.
-
Next, focus on the mid ribs by focusing on the
lungs reaching out to the front of your chest,
to the front of your breasts. Rotate your hands out about 8
inches from the body.
-
Next focus on the lungs reaching out to your
lower rib cage. Rotate your hands out about 12 inches from the body.
-
Next, focus on the lungs reaching down as though
to touch your hips and pelvic cradle. Rotate
your hands out to shoulder height.
-
Now, imagine your lungs reaching down as though
to touch the bottoms of your feet.
Rotate your hands out to just above shoulder height.
-
And then back up to the top of your shoulders
again. Rotate your hands out to as high as they they will go.
-
Now focus on your heart, imagine your heart
breathing with you and drift into the peace for a few moments.
Reach into the love within your heart
and imagine this love radiating out like a smile throughout your
being, gently cradling each one of your hundred trillion cells in an
embrace of love, as they just let go into the waves of the breath and into
the peace. Now add a gentle hum. The vibration of your hum accelerates the
momentum of the breath. As you drift on the waves of the breath, breathe
in love as you inhale and as you exhale begin to hum.
-
Feel the vibrations of the hum move down into
your heart and then radiate out into your body.
-
Again, breathe in love as you inhale, hum out
love from your heart to the tips of your toes to the top of your head.
-
One more time, breathe in love as you inhale, hum
out love from your heart to the very edges of your skin and beyond.
We call this bussing the body, what a wonderful way to get going in the
morning, or anytime during the day that you feel your body slowing down.
After 3-4 breaths, just relax as your body drifts on the waves of the
breath and take a moment to be embraced in the peace.
For as you drift into the waves of the peace, you awaken the body's
natural intelligence to heal itself.
